Have you been looking for a book club that doesn't require you to read a specific book or participate in a formal discussion?

Look no further than The Silent Book Club, a global movement that has taken root in our community. Join us for an afternoon of quiet reading in the company of friends and peers. Here's what to expect:

On the last Sunday of every month, we'll gather at the Vic Park Community Hub. Please note that the facility has a capacity of 10 people, so be sure to RSVP to secure your spot.

At 2 pm, join us at the community space chat with other readers about what you're currently reading and books in general. If you arrive before 2pm, Modus cafe is still open for coffee, so please arrive early to order your caffeine fix before they close at 2pm.

From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, we'll observe an hour of silence as we read our books together. To signal the end of the reading session, a 50-minute timer will be set.

At 3:30 pm, you're welcome to leave or stay and socialize with fellow book lovers.

This event is set to occur monthly, and we look forward to seeing you there!

**** How to find us ****

This room is a bit hard to find as it’s unsigned. It’s just off the jellybean roundabout that intersects Albany Highway, Miller and Kent Streets.

If you look for Hannah Beazley’s office on Miller Street with the red signs (Hannah is the local MP), its 2 doors down from there as you walk towards Shepperton Road.
