What we’re about
Adults who want to live with peers in the Duluth MN region are joining to discuss how living in intentional cohousing community is ideal for aging in place. Events will focus on creating a group of active adults 50+ who will get to know each other very well. Discussion will include materials used in Denmark to form senior communities. Through this relationship building members will develop skills and take steps to form a group to work on a cohousing community for active adults in the Duluth area. Relationship building will also lead to agreed upon vision and values for a new community. Down the road members will practice using models of group process that have been adopted by building and existing senior cohousing groups. Together they will learn about how these groups have come together and the issues they have faced and their solutions.
