Our goal is to connect Asian-Americans and allies in a safe, respectful, supportive, and fun environment across the SF Bay Area.

Community Guidelines*:*

• Be Respectful & Inclusive – Treat all members with kindness. Discrimination, stereotyping, or disrespectful behavior is not tolerated.
• Zero Tolerance for Harassment – No unwanted physical contact, sexual comments or advances, stalking, intimidation, or persistent unwanted flirting. Respect personal boundaries and consent.
• Maintain a Safe Environment – Especially for women and new members. Respect personal space, avoid pressuring others, and be mindful of your impact.
• Respect Organizers – Our volunteers create events to ensure positive experiences. Follow event guidelines and organizer decisions.
• Engage Positively & Supportively – Celebrate members’ achievements, support each other, and collaborate without competition. We also don’t compete with other Meetup groups.

If you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community and would like to be called a pronoun that is different from your biological pronoun, please let us know and everyone is expected to respect that, despite your personal belief in the issue.

Reporting Concerns:
If you feel unsafe or experience guideline violations, contact an organizer privately via Meetup or email safety.aaac@gmail.com. All reports are handled confidentially.

Consequences:
Violations may result in warnings, removal from events, or removal from the group depending on severity.
