Hike and Live Music / Poetry

Join us for a leisurely 6-7 km hike depending on the route we take. We will take some breaks along the way, mainly to take pictures!

Once we get back to our vehicles, we will head to Snow Valley to enjoy FREE live music and poetry readings as part of the Sounds from the Valley.

This entertainment is free but they will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Edmonton Food Bank.

We will meet at 5:15 pm at the Rainbow Valley Parking lot. Click on the red pin on the meetup map for directions. Please try to arrive a few minutes early so we can head out on time. If you get lost, please call or text Doris at 780-504-2125.

If you want to skip the hike and come only for the music and poetry, we can meet you at Snow Valley at 6:45 pm or so. Just let us know in the comments so we can look for you!

If you cannot make it after all, please remember to edit your RSVP to say “No” so that we are not waiting for you. Please respect all rules and stay home if you are not feeling well.

What to bring?
Bring water, snacks, sunscreen/bug spray, optional trekking poles, folding chair or mat/blanket and your fabulous personality! Food and drinks are available for purchase. (Last year, there was a deal for $2 off for Taco Tuesday!)

Reminder:
To check out our events, the drop-in fee is $2 per event per person. Guests are welcome. Annual Club members can attend unlimited events. Ask about our milestone challenge and the free Lifetime Membership option.
