Join us for a short 6-km hike return from Bison Lodge to see a special screening of Ice Age at the Metro Cinema. Presented for free by the Garneau Community League.

Synopsis:
Twenty-thousand years ago, Earth is a wondrous, prehistoric world filled with great danger, not the least of which is the beginning of the Ice Age. To avoid a really bad frostbite, the planet’s majestic creatures – and a few small, slothful ones – begin migrating south . The story revolves around sub-zero heroes: a woolly mammoth, a saber-toothed tiger, a sloth and a prehistoric combination of a squirrel and rat that is known as Scrat.

If you want to skip the hike portion of this event, the movie starts at 6:45 pm so let's gather a few minutes earlier at 6:30 pm in the lobby to do a quick meet and greet and get situated.

No tickets required! Feel free to choose a seat wherever you prefer in the theatre. We can chat again after the movie.
