Photo Walk on Shoreline Trail @ Elk Island National Park

Join us for a relaxing afternoon photo walk to enjoy Elk Island National Park!

We'll leisurely hike Shoreline Trail, 6-8 km return, along the south side of Astotin Lake. We will rest at the Beaver Bay picnic area for lunch/snacks at the halfway point.

What to bring
Bring a packed lunch/snacks, water/hot liquids. Wear sturdy hiking boots/shoes and a layered clothing. Consider trekking poles. Remember your camera, optional binoculars and your fabulous personality!

We will meet at the Golf Course parking lot. Please plan to be there a few minutes early. We want to depart for the hike right at 12:00 noon.

Cost
National Park passes are required. If you want to carpool, meet in front of the Petland store at the Capilano Mall at 11:00 am. Just let us know in the comments so we can save a spot for you. A courtesy driver fee of $5 helps pay for gas if you want to chip in.
