Funston Beach Coastal Trail Hike (~2.5mi, 300ft)

☀️ Easy beach hike with 2 moderate ascents: ~2.5mi with 300ft elevation gain. We will walk ~1mi on the beach, so wear beach-worthy shoes and expect sandy paws! ⛱️ 🐾 It will likely be sunny and windy, so dress accordingly and bring an appropriate amount of water for you and your dog(s). Note that dogs are allowed off leash at the park, so you are welcome to take your dog off- or keep them on-leash during the walk.
Dog lovers that are non-owners are WELCOMED. Just bring yourself, a guest or two, and your love for dogs.
We will meet at the Fort Funston Parking Lot (Nike Missile Site SF-59L) off of Fort Funston Road (off Skyline) near the Observation Deck.

- All owners are solely responsible for their own dogs and must have full control of them. This includes, but not limited to controlling and preventing any adverse behaviors such as lunging, attacking, or biting other people or dogs.
