RESCHEDULED 9-14-2025 - Black Rock State Park - Watertown

GPS: 480 Watertown Rd., Thomaston. Route 8 north off Exit 38. Turn left at end of exit. Bear right at first traffic light. At the next traffic light, turn left onto Route 6 West. Meet .8 miles on the right. If South on 8: Go straight onto Route 6. Meet .8 miles on the right.

NO KIDS - NO DOGS - NO SNEAKERS, Wear hiking boots. Buffet breakfast or early lunch after each hike. Hike starts at 8:30 am sharp, please arrive at 8:00 am. Hike will last approximately 2 hour. Singles Only 30s-70s. If this is your first hike with us, please see Charlie as soon as you arrive. He'll be wearing a blue baseball cap and orange t-shirt and will have a name tag.

We hike at four different group levels:
Social: 3 to 4 miles in 2 hours
Moderate-Intermediate: 4 to 5 miles in 2 hours
Advanced: 5 to 6 miles in 2 hours
Expert: 6 to 7 miles in 2 hours

We will meet at 10:45 am for our Buffet Breakfast at Rozzi's Restaurant, 265 Watertown Rd, Thomaston, CT 06787. From the hike left onto route 6. Drive a half a mile and park at Country Lumbar Company Parking Lot on the left. Walk across street and meet Charlie behind the restaurant at 10:45am. Look for the blue umbrellas. This is a wonderful setup on a patio deck. Our group is in the shade and is bug free. Do invite some other single friends to join us.
