The Klondike Goldrush Museum, considered a national park, will apparently close soon. Let's go before it does! Through the visitor center there people learn about the story of the Klondike Gold Rush and its role in the history of Seattle. Supplying the prospectors was how Seattle got its start as a commercial center.

[edit] After visiting the museum, let's go a short distance east and take a look at the interior of King Street Station, the Amtrack train station with its well-restored architecture and waiting room.

For our last stop, let's visit Waterfall Garden Park at 219 2nd Ave S, a nice natural touch tucked away where a lot of people miss it when they're in Pioneer Square. We can either find a place to grab a wrap or sandwich on the way to have, or bring something along from home to eat while we're there enjoying the nature-like setting.

It's predicted to be a dry day in the low to mid 60s. These locations are all close to both light rail and bus lines.
