Washington Park Arboretum walk

Details

It's been quite a while since I've visited the arboretum and this map indicates that there are blooming plants and other sights to see there in August. https://botanicgardens.uw.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2024/01/August-2023-Walking-Arboretum.pdf They should have finally finished the major highway work on I-5 that separated the north and south sides of the city, so let's go!

Here are directions: https://botanicgardens.uw.edu/washington-park-arboretum/visit/getting-here/ Let's meet outside the Graham Visitors Center. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to go with us. Please indicate in comments if you intend to bring yours.

As usual in summer please use sunscreen, bring your own water along and consider a hat. Please bring a lunch or snack so we can eat together along the way, or back at the visitors' center. [There are no cafe's close to the Arboretum.] 'See you there for what hopefully should be a peaceful mid-week day!
