Welcome to Active Bodies' Group Cross-Training (GCT) meetup!! We offer a pretty cool workout program for up to six (6) participants that is guaranteed to work up a sweat and burn a boatload of calories! Our unconventional fitness program will tap your body's main energy systems (i.e. carbs & fat!) to give you an incredible workout!
Our Group Cross-Training Program is a fun and challenging workout. The program is designed to hit every part of the body using a blend of resistance training, cardiovascular conditioning, body stabilization techniques and core development via dynamic body movements. No. . . this is not your ordinary 'pumping iron' workout!
'High-intensity' is a relative term. You do NOT have to be a highly conditioned athlete (nor are you expected to be) to participate in this workout program. ALL levels of fitness are welcomed to participate in the GCT program. Most of our participants were all beginners like you. Your job is to show up and get your body moving. . . and stay consistent! You'll start to see and feel a difference in a relatively short time.
So, if you're looking to transform your body or improve your physical fitness the GCT program here at Active Bodies is the workout program for YOU!! You will maximize calorie burning during AND after the workout. And, to keep it fun and mysterious any given workout can utilize kettlebells, resistance bands, battle ropes, dumbbells, sledgehammers, TRX, sandbags, and whatever else we can find.
