Calling all ghouls, goblins, good boys and good girls! Join LI-DOG on Sunday, November 2nd for a frightfully fun afternoon at the lovely Pine Grove Inn in East Patchogue for our Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest & Pawty! It will be a paws-itively delightful celebration for dogs and their favorite humans.

Highlights include:

• 🐶 A Big Costume Contest: Strut your stuff in our runway showdown! Categories include:
• Best Standalone Pet
• Best Dog & Human Team

Whether your pup is a werewolf, taco, fairy, or hot dog, we can’t wait to see your creativity blossom. Remember there are two categories in our parade – Best Standalone Pet, where your pup can shine and Best Dog and Human Team, where you can let your imagination soar--a pup pilot and his flight crew? Cruella DeVille and her Dalmatians? Old McDonald and his farm animals?

🎁 Prizes, giveaways, and tail-wagging fun guaranteed!

More than $250 in prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners of our costume contest!

• 🍬 Treats for All: Pup-friendly snacks and human goodies are available for purchase to keep everyone howling with joy!

· 📸 Photo Backdrop Booth: Snap Insta-worthy pics in our themed stations —think spooky graveyard, ghostly glam and pumpkin patch.

• DIY Craft Corner: Have your dog create a beautiful “paw-print painting” or decorate mini pumpkins as a remembrance of this event.

· 🎃🐾 Special Guests! 🐾🎃 Don’t miss our paws-itively fabulous VIPs who will be offering goodies, gear and resources for you and your furry best friend.

o Laura Paesano, the talented owner of Laura Pea Photography, will be on hand, ready to snap picture-perfect shots of you and your pup!
o The Salty Paws East End Long Island doggie ice cream truck will be set up with delicious ice cream and goodies to purchase for all the good boys and girls in attendance!
o Farmina Foods will be there to tell you about their healthy pet meals and offer your pup a tasty morsel.
o VEG – Commack will be on hand with giveaways, tips for a safe holiday season with your pup, and information about their new, life-saving canine blood bank.

Music—spooky, fun and upbeat--provided by our DJ Mike Kaplow and his trusty sidekick Ms. Maroney. Enjoy a playlist filled with tunes that everyone—humans and pups alike—can enjoy.

A lovely setting! Imagine a big lawn with a lazy river flowing by, a pretty gazebo in the corner, and tables with umbrellas on a brick patio with an outdoor bar serving HowloWeen-themed drinks nearby. That’s the Pine Grove Inn!

Our Howl-o-Ween Pawty is an important fundraiser for LI-DOG. So grab your pup, your dog-loving friends and family and join us on November 2nd for what will be a great time AND a great way to support LI-DOG’s work to get more access to parks and beaches for Long Island dog owners and their pups!

Discounted advance tickets for $15 per person will be available for purchase from our website soon. On the day of the event, tickets will be $20 per person. Dogs and children 12 and under are always FREE.

Please be aware that if you purchase advance tickets, you’ll receive confirmation from PayPal that your payment has been received. You will not receive an actual ticket. We will have a list of all prepaid ticket holders at our Welcome table when you check in. Just give them your name and you’re in!

Besides getting your ticket, please also RSVP so we can let the restaurant know how many guests to expect!

How to Get Involved
***We need volunteers to help make our Pawty a success! Email us at events@lidog.org with Howl-o-ween Pawty Volunteer in the subject line if you’d to help decorate the venue, set up our raffles, or participate in other ways!

Please be aware that dogs must remain leashed on non-retractable leads at all times. As always, please walk your dog before entering the venue. Dogs are not permitted inside the restaurant.

NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, please check our website, Facebook or Meetup the morning of the event. If there is no announcement the Pawty is ON!
