Please join to be part of our team at Curlers Rest. This pub is on Byres Road next door but one to Hillhead Subway. There are also frequent bus services operating nearby.

This is a weekly event. Aileen will try to make most of them but in my absence please continue quizzing! Table(s) will usually be reserved under the name McLaren from 18.45.

Food and drink are available by ordering at the bar, or from our table(s) using the Nicholson's Pubs app.

Meetup Quiz events are generally very popular so please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible if you know you can't make it. No shows will be marked as such and removed from future quiz events. Exceptions only at organiser's discretion.

Want to be a badminton Thursday Superstar? For a limited period, we are looking for new people to join Glasgow's funnest badminton group at Firhill Sports Centre, Hopehill Road G20 7HH at 8-10pm.

We pride ourselves on being a welcome place for newcomers to Glasgow: we are mixed level, mixed age of adults, mixed nationalities and colours, both sexes. Don't be put off by the number of attendees shown as the committed regulars use a Whats App group, where we use a sign up list for 12 people each week to cover our two courts. We like being small and friendly, rather than some of the huge badminton clubs around.

Cost is £6pp for each night (CASH ONLY), but your first night is free, and the centre has a spare racket so come along and have a go.

No need to confirm that you're attending for the first time, as I don't check Meetup very often!😂 Just come along and introduce yourself. We're a friendly bunch. We ask that people attend twice before we add you to our Whats App group, just to weed out the flakey folk. After that, you choose when you want to come along.
