Everybody welcome at Glasgow's funnest badminton group!

Want to be a badminton Thursday Superstar? For a limited period, we are looking for new people to join Glasgow's funnest badminton group at Firhill Sports Centre, Hopehill Road G20 7HH at 8-10pm.

We pride ourselves on being a welcome place for newcomers to Glasgow: we are mixed level, mixed age of adults, mixed nationalities and colours, both sexes. Don't be put off by the number of attendees shown as the committed regulars use a Whats App group, where we use a sign up list for 12-18 people each week to cover our two or three courts respectively. We like being small and personal, rather than some of the huge badminton clubs around, but we are aiming to gradually increase to four courts without losing our friendly feel.

The cost is £6pp for each night (CASH ONLY), and the centre has spare rackets so come along and have a go.

No need to confirm that you're attending for the first time, as I don't check Meetup very often!😂 Just come along and introduce yourself. We ask that people attend twice before we add you to our Whats App group, just to weed out any flakey folk. After that, you choose when you want to come along.
