Are you tired of the same old routine? Do you need a solid excuse to drink fermented grape juice on a weekend? Then join us at Broken Creek Vineyard in Shrewsbury for a casual meet-up of epic proportions!
The Lowdown
The Vibe: We are ditching the stuffy, pinky-up wine attitude. This is a relaxed, family-friendly hidden gem featuring a rustic barn tasting room and a massive lawn perfect for lounging.
The Wine: They’ve got estate-grown whites, bold imported reds, and—most importantly—wine slushies. Yes, slushies. Because we are adults and we can have frozen treats with alcohol if we want to.
When & Where
Where: Broken Creek Vineyard (614 South St. Shrewsbury, MA—right near the Westboro border, so it's an easy escape).
When: Saturday, October 3rd from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Bring your good vibes, your favorite snacks, and your ability to pretend you know what "notes of oak and stone fruit" mean. We will meet inside the front door promptly at 4:00 PM See you there!

The Deal: Drinking wine on an empty stomach is a young person's game. We are moving the party to a local legend serving Central MA for nearly 25 years.
The Food: Expect killer made-to-order sautéed dishes, scratch-made sauces, and rich desserts. Their satisfaction is guaranteed, and our food comas are promised.

UPDATE: Hi everyone. Due to the inclement weather still showing for Sunday, 9/20, I have postponed this event to Sunday, 10/4 for the same time of 1:00pm to 5:00pm. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I don't have any control over the elements. I realize that some of you might not be able to make it for the rescheduled event, but a number of people weren't able to make it for next Sunday, 9/27 (including myself) and this seemed like the next logical date. Located in Lincoln , MA, this remarkable property features New England's largest outdoor collection of modern sculptures. I visited recently, but I only scratched the surface and am looking to do a deep dive this time around. NOTE: A friend from the 50+ And Loving Boston Meetup Group has planned this same event for the same day and time, so this will be a joint group event, and you can get to meet some additional nice folks. I also happen to be a member of this group as well. Some of them are planning to gather at the Twisted Tree Cafe for refreshments around 3:00pm. I plan to stop for a cup of tea and socialize a bit, but I plan on going back out to view more sculptures as the park closes at 5:00pm. I'll leave this open to how each person would like to handle it. If anyone would like to meet afterwards for a bite to eat, drink, and socialize, we could go to Fiorella's Cucina located at 24 Walden St, Concord, MA, which is only an 8 minute drive from deCordova. Hope to see you there! :)

We'll meet on the museum steps, then enjoy a walk through the park to view the artworks. Feel free to share your thoughts and interpretations of these inspiring pieces.

This class will explore easy, delicious wine and snack pairings, including all your favorite treats, from salty to sweet.

You need to reserve your spot through the Total Wine website or app. Classes sometimes sell out, so I would recommend reserving your spot soon. Be sure to choose the Natick location and the Saturday October 10th 5:00-6:30 date and time. The class is $20.
