What we’re about

Building on Dr. Carey Heller's executive functioning boot camp program through Heller Psychology Group, this new program offers a more informal way to get help with time management, planning, organizing, and other related items to help increase your productivity and reduce stress.

The new lunchtime boot camp program provides an opportunity to meet monthly (or attend whichever months you'd like). During each meeting, you can share and discuss your challenges with time management, organization, and other related executive function skills. In addition, Dr. Heller will help group members identify strategies and tools that they can use to address issues. Furthermore, participants can use time during the meeting to set up specific strategies, update to-do lists, and make plans going forward.

Whether you are new to addressing these types of challenges or have tried many things without great success, this group is for you. In addition to talking about what to do, Dr. Heller will help you during the meeting to actually set up tools and you can use time to do your own planning. If you struggle with devoting time to planning, just log on for the meeting and you will now have a built-in time on days that the group meets to hold yourself accountable to making a plan.

Time management and organizational skills are often not easy to develop, implement, and maintain. However, by taking a holistic approach, and not just focusing on picking a strategy and trying to make it fit your needs, you can have long-term success in this domain.

Dr. Heller is a licensed psychologist and a founding partner of Heller Psychology Group based in Bethesda, Maryland and available via telehealth in 39 states. He specializes in ADHD and executive function challenges. Dr. Heller has been running his executive functioning boot camps for over ten years. Furthermore, he is actively engaged in the ADHD community serving on the national CHADD board (EAB co-chair) and the Montgomery County, Maryland chapter (chapter coordinator).
