Adult Social Lab: What Kind of Friendship Are You Looking For?
“I want more friends” can mean a lot of different things.
For our first themed Adult Social Lab, we’re breaking down the different types of friendships we have—and the ones we may actually be looking for.
We’ll talk about different types of friendships, what makes someone a good friend, how do we recognize when someone considers us a friend, and what we personally need to feel connected to someone.
We’ll use a hands-on activity to explore our own definitions and expectations of friendship, have some time to socialize, and end with a personal takeaway you can use outside of the group.
Adult Social Lab is facilitated by a neurodivergent professional and is designed to provide useful conversation and practical skills without feeling like therapy.
