What we’re about
ARCA (Adults Recovering from Child Abuse) is a monthly peer support group for adults recovering from childhood abuse, neglect, and trauma. This support group combines the best elements from ASCA, ACA, and Al Anon to create a guided, supportive space where we can show up as we are, hold space for each other, and rebuild trust - in ourselves, our boundaries, and our stories.
We meet on the second Sunday of each month from 5:30 PM to 7:30pm at 501 Castro Street, San Francisco, CA 94114 (The Community Room on the second floor of the Bank of America building). You’re free to speak, free to pass, and free to just be. We’re here to support healing — not perfection. For any questions, please email SecondSundayswithARCA@gmail.com. You do NOT need to RSVP to attend.

ARCA (Adults Recovering from Child Abuse) is here to provide a safe place for adults healing from childhood abuse, neglect, and trauma - to process their experiences, reclaim their voice, and learn tools for navigating adulthood with self-trust and clarity. Many of us missed out on these resources because of our upbringing. You do not have to speak to attend. You're welcome to simply listen.
