Our March meeting is looking very interesting indeed:
Paul Allen (https://twitter.com/CloudCoreo) has created a new type of infrastructure management tool. Called CloudCoreo (https://www.cloudcoreo.com/), it is a replacement for CloudFormation, a way to share and extend templates, and a crowd-sourced best practices tool all rolled into one.
Jon Skelton (http://www.linkedin.com/in/skeltonjon) - IDS/IPS with Suricata
Given the way VPC has been built deploying IDS/IPS solutions in AWS is not without it's difficulties. In this talk, Jon will walk us through how he has deployed Suricata, an open source security tool, at UC Berkeley.
