Serverless compute is broken: How to fix it in many difficult steps

  AWS launched Lambda 10 years ago. At the time, we had all hoped that serverless compute would be the way all code was deployed, but sadly that vision never materialized. Problems like cold starts, testing, monitoring, and coordination overhead between multiple functions were difficult to overcome, as well as durability and storage. In this talk I'll go over the various problems and their solutions.
