  • This loop features rocky terrain and boulder fields, especially in the Devil’s Half‑Acre section. Sturdy footwear and good balance are essential.
  • The first section has the steepest incline, followed by rolling terrain.
  • Expect forest views, stream corridors, and unique volcanic rock outcrops.

### 🌦 Weather Note

  • Sunday forecast: ~40°F with cloudy skies.
  • Rain is expected Saturday, so trails may be damp.
  • Dress in layers to stay warm and comfortable.

### ⚠️ Important Notes

  • This is not a beginner hike. Please join only if you can maintain a steady pace for 3 hours.
  • We’ll keep a steady pace — not a race, but not a stroll either. Since it will be cold, we’ll keep moving to stay warm, with only short breaks.
  • Bring water, snacks, and proper hiking shoes/boots.
  • We can all go for a well-deserved lunch afterwards (optional).
