Tonight, we return to Morocco to explore the Jebel Saghro, a dramatic landscape between the High Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. This is a review of of the Group's two treks to Jebel Saghro in March 2020.

DATING BACK CENTURIES, Morocco is a country of intrigue; an explosion of colour, tradition, soul and spice.

TONIGHT, WE EXPLORE THE JEBEL SAGHRO, a dramatic landscape sculpted by millions of years of volcanic activity. We will enjoy fantastic red-black volcanic rock formations such as the Elephant, the Camel’s Head and Bab n’Ali, and even share a pot of mint tea with our guide and team of muleteers.

THIS SPECTACULAR EXTENSION OF THE ANTI-ATLAS MOUNTAINS extends over the rich Draa and Dades oases and is rarely visited by outsiders. But with wild landscapes, peaks of over 2,700 metres and spectacular views as far as the eye can see, this undiscovered corner of Morocco is perfect for the intrepid traveller.

YOU WILL SE A GEOLOGICAL CHAOS of buttes and pinnacles sculptured in deep gorges and mountains contrasting with the survival of lush and prolific green valleys, date palms and almond groves in an extraordinary way.
