What we’re about
Hello Ladies!
Let's have some fun, be supportive of each other, and get fit! This group is for women who love adventure - hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, traveling - but at a leisurely pace. We also do Happy Hours, travel, brunches, dinner, and some cultural events. Bring your joy and share it! Think Sex in the City, but we'll enjoy our cosmos in front of a waterfall or after yoga. All ages (21+)/races/fitness levels welcomed - women only please; just be ok with adventuring at a leisurely pace. There's a wonderful energy when women of different generations can come together for common activities in support of each other. Please note that I am not affiliated with any business or trying to sell you any products - just looking for like minded gals to adventure with. Let's find our tribe and get stronger together! For activities which require fees, we will split the cost evenly. For travel activities, estimated cost will be posted when its known/available - but in general you will be responsible for your meals, activities and transportation, as well as splitting the cost of shared lodging.
This is a member driven group. This means:
• Any member in good standing who desires to organize an event is welcome to become an organizer. Message me to discuss if you are interested.
• All members are welcome to suggest any meetups desired. If you want an event but do not wish to organize it yourself, feel free to reach out to those who are currently organizing events to find if one is willing to host for or with you.
• Our organizers are volunteers. Please respect the time and energy they put into making things happen. Be on time for the events you sign up for, and update your RSVP if you are unable to attend as most events have limited attendance spots.
• Voluntary donations will fund the Meetup.com fees. Membership dues are not required, but small donations that go towards the meetup fees are appreciated! Message me if you'd like to donate.
• Group members are expected to take full responsibility for their own safety, look out for each other, be kind, and have fun!
**Many thanks to Mike Coltrane of the Sedona Hiking and Outdoor Adventure group, who so kindly allowed me to borrow from his awesome group narrative.**
