We are going to see the baby Seals at great yarmouth beach.

Event Details:
Not bringing a camera will be a huge mistake!
Definitely bring your best camera along for this trip.
This event is only done during the months of November and December. After January most of the seals start moving away from the beach.
LET'S GO SEE THE BABY SEALS!
This is your last chance to do this event this year. Will not be repeated until next year.
Norfolk is THE place where you can see one of Britain's few places for baby seals.
November and December are the peak of the season when the beaches between Horsey and Winterton are home to some 10000 seals.
Norfolk holds the world's two largest Atlantic grey seals colonies and I am taking you there. You will be able to observe at often just a couple of meters away the seals who come to these sandy beaches every year to give birth to those gorgeous white furry creatures.
We will be able to observe seals of different ages. From the tiny few hours old white pups, to the full fat adolescents and up to the big males who weigh hundreds of kilos and who will be fighting a bit further down on the sand. Volunteers will be there to answer all our questions and to keep us from getting too close to those beautiful creatures, often unsuccessfully as those cubs being of a curious nature will approach us often far too close to inspect us.
The seals will be the highlight of our trip but this will certainly not be all to see.
We will hike the dunes of the Broads nature reserve and visit the stunning surrounding villages.
We will hike around 7 miles, 4 miles will be right next to these absolutely gorgeous creatures, that will be your choice, they will be all over the place.
Be prepared to take an alternative route for a few minutes if the mothers and pubs make their way to the path. They usually stay on the beach but the recent storm have driven them in the dunes and on the path meaning that, if you get too close, you better get ready to run cause mummies protect their pups.
Babies will be wandering alone around us, they will come towards you but please, please, I cannot stress enough, do not touch them and step back as the mother will abandon them if you do.

Seals and more Seals.
Did I mention the seals?
Food:
Bring your own food and water with you. No shops at the beach. Packed lunches
There is a PUB FOOD option after the Hike for you to socialise and relax. But I give no guarantees. So definitely bring your own food and water with you. However the coach will depart by 5:30 pm to reach London before 8:20 PM
Traffic depending.
There is an option to grab your pub food or what we call a late lunch at the pub at 4:15 pm after the hike. I give No Guarantees at all. As everything depends on the conditions on the day. So bring your own snacks AND PACKED LUNCHES. ALSO very important point to mention is that if you want to reserve a late lunch at the village pub then you will need to pay for your own food in advance at the pub at 11:15-11:25 am when we arrive in the morning. So that the kitchen staff have 4 hours of time to prepare your late lunch. So when you arrive at the pub after the hike your food will be ready. Because it's a small kitchen they can't serve 30+ people food without an advanced booking and advanced payment.
It's a very small village pub with very limited capacity. Hence pay attention to the above point if you want to reserve your late lunch at 4:15 pm at the pub.
.........
WHAT TO BRING:
Waterproof shoes for the hike, preferably hiking shoes. Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Will be slightly wet and muddy in some areas. So bring the right shoes. No trainers. Seriously bring Hiking shoes.
