Labor Day Weekend Beach Day!

This is a simple one: It’s Labor Day Sunday, it’ll be hot, and it’ll be perfect to go to the beach. So, that’s what we’re doing! We haven’t done this in a while, but it’s always been a super-fun one. Also, for anyone coming to Fiji or Portugal and Spain, this will be a good opportunity to meet other people coming.

THE PLAN

Well, there is really no plan; you just come to the beach, and enjoy the day!

I’m bringing a beach gazebo, a volleyball, a soccer ball, and a frescobol set. Don’t know what frescobol is? Well, you are gonna have to come to learn. That’s what we play on the beaches of Rio.

Bring a cooler, a surfboard, a boogie board, a skim board, or any board or anything you want! The water will be 70 degrees, which for us is almost like a hot spring! 😂

Our spot will be near lifeguard tower 26, at the end of Ocean Park Ave. I’ll send my number to the going list in case you don’t have it.

Sorry, no kids. Santa Monica doesn’t allow kids on the beach. 🤣🤣🤣 No, that’s my rule. We already have our inner-child, and that’s trouble enough! But Santa Monica does not allow dogs on the sand, and that sucks. So we’ll have to leave all the kids, furry and furless, with Gramma.
