I started this group to get people to do adventures and outdoor activities with me. I guess we are all craving fun and adventure because the group took off like a rocket!!

Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a group of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of fun trivia. We balance the questions making sure there are plenty of different topics and difficulty levels so everyone will have a good time. Our friendly host will be with you live on Zoom orchestrating the most fun trivia event you've ever been to!
You're welcome to hop on by yourself or join with friends. About 75% of people sign up by themself so don't worry if you're coming on alone! Our host will make introductions and put you on a team with other people so it's a great way to make new friends. It's a fantastic way to meet new people and we've witnessed countless friendships sparked at this event. In fact, the host gives everyone the opportunity to swap contact info with other people in the group at the end of the night if they'd like to. If you sign up with friends, the host will make sure to put you on a team with your friends.

* The event host will group you off into teams and you'll be playing as a team against the other groups. You're never put on the spot to come up with answers... you'll be working with your team to answer the questions. You'll answer great trivia questions in all of your favorite categories like pop culture, history, entertainment (music, movies & TV), arts & literature, science and more. The winning team gets a prize!
** QUICK NOTE: THIS EVENT IS COMPLETELY FREE TO JOIN AND ATTEND! IF YOU HAVE FUN, WE'D LOVE IT IF YOU'D DONATE/TIP THE HOST A FEW BUCKS. * We have several unique rounds of trivia which keeps it really fun and exciting. Some rounds are like traditional trivia nights (simply answering trivia questions), other rounds are totally unique and change at each event. Sometimes we may show you a series of photos and ask you trivia questions about the photos, other times we play games like "Reverse Family Feud" where you'd have to guess the least popular answers to our question (it's soooo much fun!), or sometimes we'll play a "Find The Common Link" game where you'll have to answer some questions and figure out the common link between all the answers.

THIS IS A 3BII CANYON. EVEN THOUGH IT’S EASY FOR A CANYON, IT’S STILL TECHNICAL, SO YOU NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE. IF WE DON’T KNOW YOU, WE’LL HAVE TO CALL AND CHAT BEFORE CONFIRMING YOUR SPOT.
San Antonio Falls! One of the few canyons still open in LA after the fires. Luckily, it’s fairly easy, has a short approach, and is super fun! We’ll be doing 5 waterfall rappels, with the longest one at 80ft. Yeah!
We’re definitely going to get wet, which is why doing this in the summer is perfect!
All in all, it’s going to be a perfect day!
THE PLAN
We’ll meet at the Baldy trailhead at 9am. The hike to the canyon entrance, then down to the first rappel, should take about 30 minutes. From the first rappel to the exit should take around 3 hours.
Once we’re done, we’ll head down to Baldy Village to grab something to eat.BETA
All canyoneers need to read the beta to decide if this canyon meets their skill level and so they can be an active participant rather than a passenger. While beginners with training and a little experience are welcome, this is not a guided trip! Canyoneering is dangerous. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of those around you.

Equipment: You’ll need standard canyoneering gear and be ready for waterfall rappels. If you’re experienced enough to do this, you should know what that means. Here is the very minimum:
1. Helmet - nobody will be permitted to join us without one
2. Harness, descender of choice (ATC not recommended), and safety tether(s)
3. A rain jacket and rain pants. Even on a hot day the water is cold and you may need it! Likewise, you’ll need to keep the contents of your backpack dry with dry bags.

The HMCS Yukon! The 366-foot Canadian destroyer that was sunk in 2000 and now sits in 100 ft deep water, absolutely intact. If you are a diver from California, you have heard of the Yukon. Considered by many as one of the must-do wrecks, and one of the best dive sites we’ll ever dive.
Why is the Yukon a must-do wreck?

THE PLAN
We are going out of San Diego with the Orion dive boat. CHECK-IN: 1617 Quiver Rd. San Diego 92109. ARRIVE 45 min PRIOR to the 08:30 departure (07:45 at the latest)
The Orion charter includes complimentary AL80 tanks, one tank per dive, and weights are also provided. Nitrox tanks are available for rent for certified Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) divers, although there are no onboard Nitrox refills. The Nitrox tanks are 32% Nitrox. There is light food available on the Orion, which includes a combination of soups, fruits, bars, pastries, oatmeal, and snacks. Beverages such as drinking water, coffee, and tea are also provided. If you have special dietary needs, you are allowed to bring extra lunch with you.
