What we're about

Welcome to Adventure People! This group is for everyone who loves to hike, kayak, rock climb, and anything that gets us outdoors. We have a great team of organizers who schedule local outdoor activities, social events, and weekend camping trips. We also do small group trips to destinations around the world.

Some of the things we've done include watching the Northern Lights in Iceland, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, rappelling down waterfalls in Costa Rica, trekking on a glacier in Argentina, hiking the W Trek in Chile, climbing a volcano in Hawaii, visiting the country's national parks, exploring the world's most spectacular caves in Vietnam, salsa dancing lessons in Cuba, and that's just a few.

Adventure People all have one thing in common, we want to travel the world and have fun doing it. We're explorers, not tourists. Regardless of where you go and what you do, it's the people you share the experience with that you'll remember the most. What you'll find in Adventure People is that we're a fun, active, adventurous, welcoming group of friends. By joining our community and participating in our local and international trips, you'll not only have a new group of friends but new travel companions with whom you'll want to share more experiences. That's why you'll always see repeat travelers on all of our trips!

If you're on Facebook, be sure to join our group here as well:

There are PLENTY of cruises on Meetup. Ours will be decidedly different and not like the others.

The boat (ship) has all the things that make a cruise ship fun

  • 9-hole mini golf course
  • WaterWorks (waterslide park)
  • Tropical resort-style pool
  • Serenity Retreat area.
  • Casino
  • Comedy shows
  • Stage shows
  • Bars
  • Nightclubs
  • Dancing
  • Live music
  • Spa type services
  • . . . and more.

BUT...as a Meetup we get special treatment. We will get reserved seating together for the formal dining room.
ALSO
We will be doing our own activities on the boat, such as a scavenger hunt.
AND
Best of all a great group of like-minded people from our Meetup, ready for play and fun!

On the 2nd night we get a Cocktail Mixer with an OPEN BAR (unlimited drinks). We will also have a formal dinner and dress in our fineries.

The BEST part are OUR shore excursions in Mexico. And this is what will make our Meetup and this cruise different from others.

Totally optional if you want: We will have our own vans and drivers exclusive and private for us for our shore excursion.
Zip Line Canopy Tour or ATV or Horseback Riding

Pick and choose and only pay for what you do.

CLICK HERE To see more about Las Canadas Resort where we will go for our shore day.
CLICK HERE to see the Zip Line part.

But wait!!! How about a wine tasting visiting historic Winery with tour and tasting? An olive oil tasting too? Sure!! CLICK HERE to see about Santo Tomas Winery we can visit to.

Since we are organizing our own excursions we will be able to save from the ones offered by the boat.

This is an all-around great way to spend the Thanksgiving weekend.
And...this is NOT like the other meetup cruises you see. Care to join?

Is this for Singles? Or Couples? This is for everybody. Kids are welcome. It's about people, not your relationship status, sexual preference or age. All welcome on this. We will be a good size bunch so you will find folks you would hang with.
