Though challenging, the Tiger Leaping Gorge hike trail is a great reward with the incredible scenery of this deep gorge, the constant sound of the roaring rapids and whirlpools in the river, or seeing local farmers herd their livestock along the trail.
This is one of those trails that everyone should navigate at least once in their lifetime. It will be an unforgettable experience.

Yubeng Village (雨崩村) is located in Deqin County, Yunnan Province. There are only about 30 families residing in Yubeng village. For hundreds of years, it was never discovered, simply because of its seclusion. Situated at the foot of the Meili snow mountain range, Yubeng village is not very accessible to the outside world. It takes one whole day to trek to the village from the closest paved road. Trekking around this untouched village is pure joy and one feels totally in harmony with nature. A truly amazing Xanadu!
