Breakfast at the Attic Coffee Mill Cafe and paddling the Indian Kentuck Creek!

The heat wave breaks this week! Let's head to Madison on Friday for breakfast and paddle the Indian Kentuck creek while we're there.

NOTE: The above picture is from Grayson lake because I have never paddled the Indian Kentuck. First timer here!

The Plan:

We'll meet at The Attic Coffee Mill Cafe at 8:00am for breakfast. We'll have an enjoyable meal with some cool people. When Desna asked me where I would like to have breakfast, I replied, "I don't care. As long as they have sausage gravy and biscuits". I hear this place has some pretty tasty sausage gravy ;)

After breakfast we'll meet at the Brooksburg Public Access and do an out-and-back paddle from the ramp. So we'll basically be paddling upstream until we feel like turning around. If anyone is interested, we can head out into the Ohio for a bit after we've come out of the creek. Desna made the suggestion for this event and this is her neck of the woods, so she is going to be my co-host. Please direct all questions and concerns to her...lol

WARNINGS:
This is an OPEN WATER paddle. Please take appropriate action with hat, sunblock, sunglasses, umbrella, etc. Don't forget to bring your WATER AND SNACKS.

This is a FREE EVENT! Solo kayak rentals are $60 and tandems are $100. Shoot me a message if you need a rental.
