Waiver of liability
You agree when you sign up for this group or any of the events that you have read and understand the below.
If you join us for any other event, please understand that you are responsible for your own preparedness and well-being and will hold no one else liable in case of injury or mishap. You agree not to hold the Organizer, Assistant Organizers, or any other members responsible for any injuries, mishaps, or any other situation that may happen at a planned event. You are responsible to research the event, know the area, and bring the proper gear.
Adventure women travel & activities does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals who may participate in any of the events planned by the Organizer or Assistant Organizers. You are responsible for your own safety and any insurance you may require.
This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss and liability.
Your attendance on an event signifies that you have read and accept the terms of this liability waiver. By signing up for this group or event you understand that you are attending all events AT YOUR OWN RISK
Payment Policy
By RSVPing to an event you are expected to pay upfront and in full by the dates given.
Deposits - Deposits are due by the date given, missed dates will mean you are removed from the event and your space is given to the next in line. Deposits are non-refundable.
Full Payments - Full payments are due by the date given, If this date is missed you will lose your space and any deposit paid. Only fully paid spaces can be sold to another member of the group. The selling of a space can be advertised through the comment section of the event. The Party selling the space must email erika.adventurewomen@gmail.com and must CC the person who is taking the space on the email. The New attendee can either pay straight to the group and a refund will then be issued to the member OR they can arrange payment privately. The New attendee must be a member of this group and by paying are accepting the terms of this group. Any fees incurred will be deducted from any refund.
Late Arrivals - Please make sure you arrive on time to the event. If you are late please contact the host. We will do our best to meet-up with you still but if you are late the group will not wait for you. If you are late you may miss out on some or all of the event. No refunds will be given due to lateness.
This is a female only group. Please ensure you have a clear photo of yourself as your profile picture. Males will be removed upon joining. If a Male turns up to an event he will be asked to leave and forfeit any payments made.

Embark on a 19km journey starting in the charming Amersham market town. Following parts of the Chilterns heritage trail we pass through the enchanting Parsonage Wood, unfolding into expansive green fields and farmland.
We will explore the quaint village of Coleshill, enjoy views from Winchmore Hill, and through Penn Street. This hike offers a delightful mix of woodlands, fields, and picturesque villages along the way.Meeting Point

Dress appropriately for the weather as our walks go ahead in rain or shine. It's recommended to carry a waterproof jacket at all times.
Check the forecast and bring sun cream, a hat, etc. for warm days, or waterproofs for wet days.Since we'll be walking through woodland with nettles and a potential for tick bites, consider wearing trousers or leggings. Avoid denim or cotton.
Opt for walking shoes or boots; open-toe shoes won't be suitable.
As there might not be opportunities to purchase food or drinks along the route, bring at least 1.5 litres of water, lunch, and snacks.Keep in mind that there won't be public toilets available on the route.

You're responsible for your own health and safety, and it's important to be physically capable of hiking continuously for 7 hours. To join the hike, make sure you're dressed appropriately, as inappropriate attire will result in non-participation.Safety and Guidelines:
Our guided walks are led by certified lowland walking leaders who are Outdoor First Aiders through Mountain Training UK. Please note that no dogs are permitted on our walks.Adventure Women is an all-female activity group.
Walk Grades:
- Easy: Mostly flat, under 10 miles, suitable for beginners.
- Medium: Inclines, over 10 miles; challenging but doable for most beginners.
- Hard: Steep inclines and/or over 15 miles; requires some walking/hill fitness.
- Challenging: Tougher terrain, unsteady ground, hilly, remote areas, full days out; not for beginners.

Please come join us for a Chistmas Kayaking session on the lovely Cheshunt Lake in Lee valley Hertfordshire.

No experience needed, all equipment provided.
Pop on your Santa hat and come and join us on Christmas Santa paddle (fancy dress is optional). It will be followed by hot drinks, soup, mince pies, and mulled wine
Kit:
Please wear comfortable clothing & dress for the weather, you may get wet so please bring a change of clothing.
Everyone will be provided with a life jacket, kayak and paddle.Please bring water.

Join us on this 16k Hike -Epping Forest - Queens hunting lodge and Jacks Hill
County/Area - Essex
Length - 10 miles / 16 km
Ascent - 560 feet / 170 metres
Grade - moderateTotal Hike - Approx 10 miles / 16 kilometers (approx 4 - 4.5 hours walking time)

The Hike:
This is a medium level hike with some hills.
Epping Forest is a beautiful, huge forest between London and Essex. Much of the Forest is of national and international conservation importance with two thirds of it being designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation. These designations are due to its large numbers of ancient trees which support a wealth of wildlife, including wood-boring beetles and fungi, its ancient grasslands and heaths, as well as its many freshwater ponds. Oak, Beech, Birch and Hornbeam are the dominant trees.
This Route follows the Oak trail and Jacks hill, crossing through Epping Forest and some of its surrounding Buffer Lands.
How to get there:

By Car - Parking is available at Chingford plain car park OR Barn Hoppit car park. (Paid parking might need cash)Lift Shares:

Join us for a delightful 2-day, 1-night winter escape in enchanting Wiltshire!
Shake off those January blues as we embark on a magical hiking adventure in this stunning location. Immerse yourself in centuries of history that both Stonehenge and Cherhill offer.

Arrive Saturday Morning and leave Sunday late afternoon.Our journey will lead us along the historic trails of Amesbury and Stonehenge, with an exhilarating hike on the iconic White Horse Trail at Cherhill.
Itinerary:
Saturday
Arrive at 10.00 at the start point for the first hike.
Head out on our hike of Cherhill Whitehorse. This is a hilly hike with great views. The white horse is cut into the side to of the hill and dates back to the 18th Century.
Lunch will be on route (please bring this with you)
We will then check into our accommodation.
In the evening we will head out to a local pub for our evening meal.The Hike:

Grade - MediumWe will be staying in hostel in the heart of Wiltshire.
Accommodation is shared rooms with Bunkbeds.
