Bull Run-Occoquan Trail Hike II

It's another "too nice to be inside!" hike in the occasional series. We'll hike a few miles on the Bull-Run Occoquan Trail from Fountainhead Park before we retrace our steps. We'll plan for around 7 miles total. This hike is rated moderate and is generally suitable for novice hikers who want a bit of a challenge.

Meet at the Huntington Metro (South - 5803 N. Kings Highway Kiss & Ride) at 9am to form carpools. This trip, there won't be a pit stop on route to the trailhead, so make sure to bring everything you need for the hike with you. Restrooms are available at the trailhead.

Bring water, snacks, lunch, bug spray, sunscreen, sturdy mud-worthy footwear. Trip fees should be about $9 ($4 for gas reimbursement, $5 Adventuring fee).
