5:30 pm – Talk: Using JupyterLab and Python for exploratory analysis of geo-temporal data

Mike Morgan, BAE Systems, will demonstrate how to find open data sources, use libraries including pandas and geopandas for processing, and combine results using the Jupyter widget ecosystem. The result is a dashboard for exploring geo-temporal data sets.

6:00 pm – Jupyter Extension Roundtable
Open lightning talks will discuss and demonstrate new and useful Jupyter extensions of interest to all Jupyter users.
