Hello Photo App Enthusiasts!
Thanks very much to the 100+ developers who showed up for the WWDC Happy Hour! For the next meeting (July 9th) we are going to be focused on the very hot topic of photo (and video) app monetization i.e. advertising, paid apps, in app purchases, etc. with an expert in the field.
Hans Hartman is the President of 48 Analytics (suite48A.com)a market and user research firm for the mobile photography market. Among a variety of past photo industry positions, Hans was recently senior director of Market Research at Nero and co-founder of teen photo web site Piczo. Hans recently completed a study on Photo App monetization, interviewing many mobile developers and will share his findings. There will also be plenty of opportunity for attendees to share their experiences.
