AfroServe & Aces is a vibrant social tennis club where people can connect through Afrogospel vibes, tennis, and great conversations! Whether you're here to play, learn, or just vibe, this group is all about community, culture, and fitness.
We're looking to meet fun, positive people who enjoy African music, tennis (whether beginner or seasoned), and making new connections. All backgrounds are welcome - whether you're here to hit the courts or make some unforgettable connections.
We’ll have casual games, lessons for beginners, and sometimes a bit of competitive play. All of this happens to the rhythm of Afrogospel music. Not into tennis? No problem! There will also be time to chat, eat, network, and enjoy chill vibes with great people.

And for the first time ever, we’re adding a brand-new twist to close out the year and to make up for last week's Sunday's postponement…
This will be our first Pickleball Edition of the AfroServe Sunday Social! 🏓✨
We can’t wait to reset, reconnect, and step into the new year with movement, joy, and community. More details are on the way - but get ready, because this one is special.
AfroServe is heading back to Pickle Mania, an amazing Black-owned pickleball space that continues to pour into our community - and this weekend, they’re also spotlighting something meaningful:

While Sunday will feature their official FREE Self-Care Sunday Open Play, with awareness, advocacy, snacks, hydration, and safe-space vibes, this is our AfroServe pull-up night - and it’s FREE for all-day open play!

Here’s what to expect:
- 🎾 Training across all levels with our amazing Rwandan tennis instructor, Coach Ndekwe
- 🏆 On-court tournaments & fun tennis drills
- 🍴 Food & drinks + picnic blankets w/ fun board games
- 🎶 Louder Afrobeats vibes to keep the energy high
- 🎁 Join “Club Aces” members to sign up for group coaching
- 🏸NEW! Off-court Badminton Game Play with badminton rackets & birdies provided!
What to bring:
- A tennis racket (if you have one bring it - we’ll have a few free, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE)!
- Comfortable clothes & sneakers

Meet our Serve Squad at River Oaks Park for tennis and badminton!
Look for our table, music, and good vibes! Restrooms are inside the community center or you can use the Whataburger restroom across the street.
