About us
🇬🇧 After Dark Cinema Club is a social movie club in Valencia for people who enjoy horror, thrillers, cult films, genre cinema, and other movies that are simply more fun to watch together.
We’ll meet around once a month to catch a movie, usually with a drink, coffee, or food before or after so we can actually get to know each other and talk about what we watched.
No need to be a film expert or a hardcore horror fan. Just come if you enjoy movies and meeting new people in a relaxed setting.
Spanish and English welcome.
Whenever possible, we’ll watch films in their original language with Spanish subtitles (VOSE). Films originally made in Spanish will, of course, be shown in Spanish.
Come alone, bring a friend, or just come for the movie. Most of us will probably start out not knowing anyone. 🌙🍿

🇪🇸 After Dark Cinema Club es un club social de cine en Valencia para personas a las que les gustan el terror, los thrillers, las películas de culto, el cine de género y, en general, esas películas que son mucho más divertidas cuando se ven en compañía.
Nos reuniremos aproximadamente una vez al mes para ver una película, normalmente con algo de beber, un café o comida antes o después para poder conocernos, conversar y comentar lo que vimos.
No tienes que saber muchísimo de cine ni ser fanático del terror. Solo venir con ganas de ver películas y conocer gente en un ambiente relajado.
Español e inglés son bienvenidos.
Siempre que sea posible, veremos las películas en versión original con subtítulos en español (VOSE). Las películas cuyo idioma original sea el español se verán, por supuesto, en español.
Puedes venir sola/o, traer a alguien o simplemente venir por la película. Probablemente muchos empezaremos sin conocer a nadie. 🌙🍿

A special screening of David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive on the big screen.If you’ve never seen it before, this is a pretty great way to experience it for the first time. And if you have, you already know this is the kind of movie that deserves a cinema rewatch.
We’ll meet at 19:00 at the entrance of Cine Lys, a little before the movie starts, so we have time to say hello and head into the cinema together.

Una proyección especial de Mulholland Drive, de David Lynch, en pantalla grande.Si nunca la has visto, esta es una muy buena oportunidad para descubrirla en el cine. Y si ya la viste, probablemente sabes que es de esas películas que vale la pena volver a ver en pantalla grande.
Nos encontraremos a las 19:00 en la entrada de Cine Lys, un poco antes de que empiece la película, para saludarnos y entrar juntos al cine.
