Enterprise AI Adoption: Where Does It Break Down?
Description:
While first hand accounts of AI adoption breakdowns are very helpful, this month we are taking a different approach. Our speaker, Herb Blecher, will take a data driven analytical view of what companies are experiening today in adopting AI.
Drawing on recent research from his company EMA, Herb has identified clear patterns of when adoption breaks down due to systems misunderstanding the business or teams skipping or scattering the foundations, producing results no one can explain.
Herb Blecher will be sharing this fresh research with us, examining these failure points and the practical steps teams can take to validate decisions, control actions, and expand AI use with confidence.
With these practical insights, you will walk away armed with information to flatten the learning curve in your companies AI journey.
Your Speaker:
Herb leads the Data and Analytics practice at Enterprise Management Associates (EMA). His research examines how enterprises architect, govern, and operationalize data platforms to drive business outcomes, with particular focus on AI/ML platforms, data observability, analytics modernization, and data integration.
Herb has been a data and analytics practitioner in financial services and data product development for more than two decades. He directed national data programs for the U.S. Treasury and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, built and managed large-scale data platforms covering 80% of U.S. mortgages, and developed analyses relied on by federal regulators and cited in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and CNBC.
