Scrum & Kanban: A Match Made in Heaven with Paul Ralton
Synopsis:
Why is it that people still think you have to make a choice between Scrum or Kanban?
This session will explore how Scrum and Kanban can wonderfully co-exist to help deliver value early whilst also helping create a more enjoyable and motivational working environment.
It will begin by taking you through the core Flow Metrics and then looking at examples of how you can use them within your Scrum events.
If you want to find out more about how maybe Kanban can help some of those challenges you experience when using Scrum (estimation, forecasting, stress at the end of each Sprint, relevant conversations at the Daily Scrum, and so much more...) then this might be a revelation for you.
Speaker:
Paul is a Professional Scrum Trainer with [Scrum.org](http://scrum.org/) and an Agile Coach. He originally started off as an "analyst/programmer" way back in the early 1990s within very traditional waterfall environments. A number of years later he managed to find his way into agility and particularly Scrum. Over the 30+ years in product development he has worked with various companies particularly with a focus around finance and including investment banks, hedge funds, wealth finance, risk and insurance.
He is currently an independent coach, mentor, trainer and speaker.
