Architecting Innovation: From Startup Mentality to Global Impact

Synopsis:
Explore the transformative principles driving world-class innovation in modern organizations. This session is inspired by Amazon's culture of innovation. Amazon's approach has remained consistent since its founding: start with the customer and work backwards.

Join us to learn how Amazon innovates through four distinct yet interdependent elements: Culture, Mechanisms, Architecture, and Organization. We will dive deep into specific aspects of Amazon's culture, including leadership principles, the working backwards mechanism, two-pizza teams, to name a few.

Speaker:
Fahad Ahmed is a Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) supporting large financial organizations. With over 18 years of IT experience across three continents, Fahad has worked in roles ranging from developer to manager to architect. Currently, he enjoys exploring Generative AI technologies and can often be found experimenting with coding and prototyping in this emerging field.
