Abstract
At Gousto, we're always striving to make our customers happy and bring the best recipes and ingredients to their tables. In order to do that, we're moving really fast and, sometimes, it's difficult to keep up with the fast pace and deliver new features for our customers as well as supporting the business and fulfilling the high volume of orders we receive every day. This often leads to unpredictability and lack of trust from the rest of the business.

Amanda and Andrea will explain what we learned from delivering big projects last year, how we are now trying to address some of the issues we identified using Agile and Lean, and how, in the near future, we're planning to improve our ways of working even more, in order to get more trust from the rest of the business

Bios:
Amanda Colpoys - Business Agility Coach
Amanda began her career in the media, spending 9 years at the BBC before moving in to technology. She worked on a variety of software projects for the likes of NBC, MTG and BBC Worldwide before joining Moonpig in 2014. At Moonpig she worked initially to introduce agile and lean practices within product and engineering, before going on to transform the wider organisation.

Amanda now works as a freelance business agility coach supporting organisations to adopt lean, agile and growth methodology. She is passionate about building autonomous self-organising teams aligned around clear missions. She believes in leveraging a lean approach across all value streams, creating systems of work that are optimised for delivering maximum value at a sustainable pace. She champions a culture of fast feedback and continuous improvement which puts customers and employees at the heart of the business.

Andrea Marchello - Engineering Manager
Andrea is a former software engineer, with a past in different industries, from banking to fashion, from travel to telco, working with different technologies and in different roles.
In the last two years, he moved towards different roles and responsibilities, Scrum Master first and Engineering Manager later.

Passionate about Agile ways of working and Lean principles, Andrea is now managing the Supply Tribe at GoustoTech and his teams are responsible for delivering software to support Gousto's supply chain and help the company to fulfil the orders for the customers.
