Speaker bios:

Tim Schawamb, SPC

Tim Schwamb is a Senior Agile Transformation Consultant with Agile Rising, who brings a wealth of experience with large programs in the government sector. He spent much of his 21 years in the Air Force engaged with government programs as a customer, engineer, program manager, and organizational leader, learning Agile principles the hard way. After retiring from the Air Force, his transition into the Agile space was an easy one, leveraging his experiences and lessons learned with those of the Scaled Agile Framework and the Agile Manifesto. As a result, he has served as Agile Coach and trusted advisor to several government programs within the Air Force and NASA, assisting them with working within – and later beyond – the traditional structures and processes to achieve agility. He’s known for his pragmatic approach to the implementation of Agile practices that are always grounded in the Agile mindset and principles. Tim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Computer Systems.

Tim Meyer, SPC
Tim Meyer is an agile coach at Agile Rising with a unique blend of experiences and insights from small businesses to Fortune 100 organizations, working in the service industry, biotech, financial services, research and development, insurance, health systems, and federal and state government. Trained as an engineer, Tim has meandered his way through life as a structural engineer, website designer, software/hardware developer, inventor, project/program manager, coach, SPC, and small business owner. Tim is a certified Team Coach (CTC) with the Scrum Alliance, a PCC with International Coaching Federation (ICF), and SPC with Scaled Agile, and has a Master's Degree in Leadership. Tim can be found volunteering as a musician at his church, working behind the scenes in the family business, or traveling somewhere new when he is not working.
