The WordPress Ahmedabad Community is taking a step towards saving lives by organizing a Blood Donation Camp ahead of World Health Day! This initiative, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society and Global Shapers Community - Ahmedabad, aims to promote health, wellness, and community.

By donating blood, you’re not just saving lives—you’re also taking a step toward a healthier world. Plus, as a token of appreciation, every donor will receive 9 free health tests!

### 🏥 Eligibility for Blood Donation

✔ Age: You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
✔ Weight: You must weigh at least 45 kilograms (110 pounds).
✔ Hemoglobin Level: Your hemoglobin level must be at least 12.5 g/dL.
✔ Overall Health: You must be in good health and not suffering from any transmittable diseases.
✔ Body Temperature: Your body temperature should be normal.
✔ Time Between Donations: The time period between successive blood donations should be more than 3 months.

### 🚫 Who Cannot Donate Blood?

❌ People with a history of Angina, heart-related problems, cancer, infectious diseases like HbsAg, HIV, HCV, and thyroid disorders.
❌ If you have donated blood or been treated for Malaria in the past 3 months.
❌ If you have consumed alcoholic beverages in the past 24 hours.
❌ Diabetes controlled by insulin.
❌ Individuals with epilepsy.
❌ You must wait:
🔹 14 days after vaccination before donating blood.
🔹 28 days after recovering from COVID-19 before donating blood
