AI for Small Business Meetup NC is a community for local business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals who want to learn practical ways to use AI in their work and businesses.
You don't need to be technical, and you don't need to spend all day keeping up with AI. The goal is to learn what these tools can actually do, how to use them well, and where they can save you time or help you get more done.
We'll cover practical topics and compare notes!
Our meetups are simple and informal:
30 minutes — Networking
Meet other local business owners, entrepreneurs, and people interested in putting AI to work.
20 minutes — Practical teaching
Each meetup will feature a short session focused on one useful topic. Coming sessions may include:
• Claude Cowork 101 — what it is, what it can do, and how to get Cowork working for you
• AI Agent Best Practices — how to create agents that are reliable, productive, and useful for real business work
• AI for Lead Follow-Up and Sales
• Simple Business Tasks You Can Automate
The focus will be on demonstrations and examples rather than long presentations.
30 minutes — Open Q&A and discussion
Bring your questions, business problems, ideas, or something you've been trying to do with AI. We'll talk through them together.
You might be completely new to AI, or you might already be experimenting with agents and automation. Either way, you're welcome.
Meet people. Learn something useful. Ask questions. Try it in your business.
