Build Your Own AI Agent: A Zero-to-One Practical Session
Details
AI solutions can feel intimidating—like something only elite engineers can build. But the truth is, the tools have evolved. If you have a laptop and a curious mind, you can build powerful AI solutions that solve real problems.
Join AI Innovators of Greenville for a beginner-friendly, hands-on session, where will look under the hood of an "AI Agent" to see how it works, and then we will build one together. Whether you are a software engineer who has never touched AI, or a business leader who has never written code, you will be able to follow along.
In this session, we will cover:
- Demystifying the Agent: What exactly is an AI agent? We will break it down into simple parts: the "brain" (the AI models) and the "tools" (what it can actually do).
- Small but Mighty: You don't need expensive cloud servers. We will show you how to run efficient, "lightweight" AI models right on your own computer or in-browser.
- The Starter Template: We will provide a starter template. You will see how to build a simple solution now, and learn how to swap in more powerful AI models later as your needs grow.
- Walk Away with a Win: You will leave with a working AI agent on your machine that acts as a foundation for your future ideas.
What you will achieve: By the end of the night, you will have your own personal AI sandbox. You will understand the basic recipe for building AI tools and feel confident enough to start experimenting on your own.
Who is this for?
- Non-Coders: If you can edit a Word doc, you can do this. We will provide the code skeleton; you just need to bring the ideas.
- Traditional Developers: If you know software but feel behind on the AI wave, this is the perfect "Hello World" for AI crash course to catch you up and start preparing for larger solutions.
