NOTE: The Date has changed to 10/23.

Join the RMAIIG AI/ML Engineering group this Thursday, 10/23 for a hands-on deep dive with MLX. Built from the ground up for M-series Macs, MLX is Apple’s performance-tuned answer to PyTorch and JAX.

UPDATE!: Massimo Roberto Scamarcia , author of BlossomTune-MLX framework reached out to us with some more info on BlossomTune-MLX. BlossomTune is based on the Flower Framework (flower.ai) open source tools for federated learning. Thank you Massimo!

In this technical deep dive, Uche Ogbuji will take us through practical applications of MLX, with some hands-on use cases, and what makes it different from other frameworks. Then we’ll roll up our sleeves for a hands-on workshop: experimenting with BlossomTune-MLX, ( https://lnkd.in/gPM-iuVJ ) a federated fine-tuning framework designed specifically for MLX.

Expect to get your hands dirty with live demos, model fine-tuning, and practical workflows you can run on your own machine. Bring your MacBooks, your experience, your awesome questions, and raw curiosity.

This is going to be a great session. Hope to see you there, and I'll bring the coffee!
