Write a spec. Watch AI build it. Take home a working prototype. Free hands-on workshop for product professionals. No coding, no installs.
AI can now write the code.
It cannot decide what to build, or judge whether what it built is right. Those two skills are yours. This workshop turns them into a method.
Spec Driven Development (SDD) is changing how software gets built. The spec is becoming the new source of truth in the SDLC.
The people who write clear requirements are becoming the people who ship. This free, hands-on evening shows you why, by having you do it.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This is not a lecture with slides. You bring a laptop. You build.
- SPEC: Pick a real problem from your own work and write a structured spec for it, using a template you keep.
- BUILD: Hand your spec to AI agents and watch a working prototype come back in minutes. You steer.
- VERIFY: Test the build against your spec, find the gaps, and run an improvement loop. This is the skill that separates professionals from prompt-and-pray.
You leave with a working prototype you made yourself, a reusable spec template, the Spec. Build. Verify. method, and new connections from a room full of Bay Area product peers. We close with Q&A and networking.

WHAT TO BRING
1. A laptop with a charger.
2. Access to your active Claude account. A paid Claude plan is recommended to avoid free-tier usage limits during the hands-on exercises.
3. One real problem from your work that you would like to prototype.
We will build with Claude and a Spec Driven Development toolchain that includes GitHub Spec Kit. Setup guidance will be shared with registered attendees before the workshop. No coding experience required.
