AI Ship & Social is a group where folks from every part of your team can come to talk about what it takes to build and ship products with AI. Support, product, design, engineering, marketing, sales, and all others are welcome to come and learn about this quickly-advancing field.
Our events will be a mixture of talks and open social events, and we're always interested in meeting potential speakers, hosts, or sponsors.

Ask the Agent, Not the Analyst: Self-Serve BI with AI

BI teams everywhere are drowning in "quick questions" that aren't quick. We built an agent that answers them: type a question in Slack or a UI and get back the answer, follow up questions, the SQL query and a visualization.
We'll talk about the agent's architecture, LangGraph workflow, guardrails to minimize hallucinations, cost, prompt injection defenses, and maintenance challenges.
