WHO RUNS THIS
I'm Emery Layton, a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, USA. I work in water and wastewater infrastructure, and I use AI tools in that job every week — for research, documentation, analysis, and communication. I've been teaching practical AI workshops since 2024; the largest ran about 30 people.
I'm not a full-time AI guru, and I'm not going to tell you to quit your job. I run this group because most AI education is either too technical or too salesy, and there's a real gap in the middle.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Professionals, business owners, and career changers in Manchester and beyond who want to use AI for real work — not to follow the hype, and not to become developers.
WHAT WE DO
Free live online sessions with people who use AI in their own businesses every day. Sessions cover the specific: which tools, what they cost, where they break, and what actually changed after someone put them to work.
Recurring topics:
- Practical AI for business operations — writing, research, admin, customer communication
- Building and marketing an online business with AI assistance
- Using AI to move into new work, or to make your current role easier
- Honest assessments of tools, including what they can't do
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Every session is free and online
- Presentation, live demonstration, and Q&A
- Attend what's useful, skip what isn't
- No pressure and no aggressive selling
FULL DISCLOSURE
Some presenters offer paid programs after their free sessions. If you choose to buy one, I may receive a commission. That doesn't change your price, and you'll never need to buy anything to be part of this group. I'd rather tell you up front than have you find out later.
When you RSVP, your name is shared with that session's presenter so they can send you materials and the replay.
