Caring with Algorithms (Our 100th Meetup!)
Details
We're excited to announce our 100th EVENT! And what better way to celebrate than with Jon Wayland, Data Science Director at Florida Blue, at the Link!
This Month's Talk: Caring with Algorithms
Machine learning plays a vital role at Florida Blue. With a member population exceeding 4 million lives, identification and stratification is a core capability and is needed across the continuum of well to end-of-life. This talk will focus on an example at end-of-life.

Jon serves as the Director of Data Science at Florida Blue, where he’s built and led a team focused on identifying high-risk Floridians through machine learning. With a decade of data science experience in healthcare, previous stints include the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Availity.
