Abstract: Oracle APEX revolutionises Generative Development (GenDev) by combining low-code with AI. In this session, you’ll experience this firsthand as we build a complete Events App live, starting from an idea and turning it into a fully functional application. We’ll define the app’s features, generate the data model, and create the application using natural language prompts. You’ll see how quickly the app takes shape, how easily the UI can be refined using declarative features of Oracle APEX, and how the APEX AI Assistant helps turn plain language into SQL to create rich visualisations like dashboards and reports. We’ll then take it further by adding a context-aware, RAG-powered chatbot that delivers seamless conversational experiences - grounded in your own enterprise data for accurate and relevant responses. This live session offers a practical, end-to-end look at how AI can dramatically boost productivity and help developers go from idea to app faster with Oracle APEX. In this session, you’ll learn:- How to apply Generative Development in Oracle APEX to real-world use cases by turning a simple idea into a fully functional Events App using natural language prompts.
