Write for Rights 2022: Film Screening and Write-A-Thon Hybrid Event

Hi everyone,
It is that time of year for our Write for Rights 2022 event! Write for Rights is Amnesty's biggest letter writing campaign of the year, more information here: https://write.amnestyusa.org/. We will be writing on cases from Chinese Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Cuba, France, Morocco and Western Sahara, Paraguay, Russia and Zimbabwe. Light refreshments will be served.
We will also be screening 'The Facility', a documentary about immigration detention. One of the former detainees highlighted in the documentary, Nilson Barahona, we will be give an introduction to the film and we will have a Q&A after the film screening. Nilson is the founder of 'ICE Breakers', a non-profit dedicated to awareness, communication and activism on immigration and immigration detention issues.
